More than a place to practice martial arts – the dojo – place of the way, filled with physicality, beauty, and mysticism, is the entrance to a world of self-discovery and realization. For those who grace it with their presence and dedication, perseverance and hard work, integrity and commitment, it is the place to Discover The Champion Within™ and their home away from home.
Here, through arduous training, successes and failures, you will practice to always give your best. You will adopt the tenets of the Bushido code: integrity, respect, courage, honor, compassion, honesty, and loyalty. You will improve your mastery of movement and learn how to focus your mind to be completely present in each moment. You will live, sweat, laugh, and learn together with people of all backgrounds and perspectives. You will, in the words of A.A. Milne, discover that “You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” And when you have mastered this art, which we love and respect, you will lead as a Champion as others follow in your footsteps and look upon you in awe.
